Meet Dr. Sam Calvert, O.D., a provider at Vision Source Of Bowling Green the leading provider of vision care products and services in Bowling Green.

Dr. Sam Calvert is a comprehensive optometrist with special interests in dry eye treatment, glaucoma, diabetic eye exams, and routine eye care. He graduated from Morehead State University with a degree in Biomedical Sciences and later earned his Doctor of Optometry from The Ohio State University.

Dr. Calvert joined Vision Source after completing his residency in Ocular Disease at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida. During his residency, he had the opportunity to train with some of the nation’s leading specialists in glaucoma, corneal disease, advanced dry eye, retinal disease, and emergency eye care. Dr. Calvert was born and raised in Scottsville, Kentucky, and is thrilled to return to South Central Kentucky to provide exceptional, individualized eye care to the Bowling Green area and surrounding communities. 

When not in the office, Dr. Calvert loves to play golf, days on the lake, traveling, and spending time with his friends and family.
